TELL US ABOUT WHAT YOU DO:
I’m a yoga teacher, trainer, writer…and a bit of a mystery but mostly a holistic wellness expert who uses her platform to break stigmas and stereotypes in the yoga industry while aggregating a conversation that matters. Other than that, I’m a lover, a fighter, and obsessed with skincare.

WHAT WOULD YOU LOVE TO WAKE UP TO?
Breakfast, and /or a beach view…with someone special.
I GET THE BEST SLEEP WHEN...
It’s totally dark, totally quiet, and there are no stresses or worries or alarm clocks.
WHAT KEEPS YOU UP AT NIGHT?
I want to say something important but usually it’s playing on my phone, texting international friends, or writing.
BEST YOGA POSES FOR RELAXATION AND SLEEP?
Look to breathing exercises from yoga (or meditation) to really help relax the body and slow the heart rate as a way to prepare for restful sleep. Some deep, thoughtful breaths, where you try to make your exhales twice as long as your inhales can really help. Other than that, any similar stretches that feel good for you, that you can breathe into are solid choices.
MOST IMPORTANT SLEEP ADVICE YOU CAN GIVE?
Value sleep. I am bothered by the sentiment that sleep is for the weak. I think sleep is crucial for so much of how the body functions as well as a space to renew, dream, and be good to ourselves.
FAVORITE PLACE TO SLEEP?
Giant hotel beds, but home is a pretty close second.
